Creative Exploration offers children (ages 6 – 11) a mindful and creative exploration to foster self expression and communication through visual art. Inspiring curiosity with art allows us to see that thoughts and imagination are full of possibilities through the process of creating mindful art. Everyone is creative in their way. This exploration encourages our children to use creative expression and art as anoutlet for emotions in a mindful and nonjudgmental environment. For May 11, Saturday’s workshop, we will be creating mandalas.

Mandala means "circle" in Sanskrit. It is a symbol of wholeness and connection. Making harmonious circular images helps strengthen visual stimulation in children. It improves creativity and imagination and promotes self-expression while enhancing motor and mobility skills.
