Our Summer Workshops are packed with color, creativity, and fun for kids (ages 7-13) From giant mural painting and glow-in-the-dark art to street art, cartooning, and more—each week is a new adventure where young artists can explore, create, and let their imaginations run wild. Come make some art, make some friends, and make this summer one to remember!
Street Art Workshop (All Ages)
Get ready to spray, splash, and unleash your inner street artist! Join us for an electrifying indoor workshop packed with spray painting excitement. In just one hour, you'll dive into the vibrant world of graffiti art, mastering the basics while letting your creativity soar. But that's not all – you'll also craft your very own custom stencil-filled canvas masterpiece to take home! So, come prepared to learn, laugh, and leave your mark on our walls.
Toddler Messy Sensory Experience (Ages 2-3)
The focus of this Toddler Messy Art class is on the process of creating and exploring art, rather than the end result. Helping them appreciate the value of experimentation, problem-solving, and self-expression throughout their artistic process
I will encourage the children to express their unique perspectives, ideas, and emotions through their art. Help them understand that there is no right or wrong way to create art and that their individuality should be celebrated. Parents are required to stay with their child.
Let’s Make a Play (Ages 7-13)
Join Serena Norr of “Let's Make a Play” for a free sample playwriting class! Kids (ages 7-13) will learn how to craft their ideas to start to write/create their own original play! This includes some art, writing, improv, and more!
Weekly Saturday Cartooning Classes (Ages 8+)
Join artist and designer, Patt Tufaro, as he guides you through the fundamentals of cartooning and character creation. In this engaging workshop, you'll not only learn the basics but also discover how to apply your imaginative creations to real-world products and usages. Patt's impressive portfolio includes work with beloved licensed characters such as Looney Tunes and Hanna Barbera. All you'll need to bring is a pencil (which we'll provide) and your boundless creativity!
Weekly Saturday Printmaking Classes (Ages 8+)
Join artist Jeremy Williams for an exciting introduction to printmaking through the art of linocut. In this hands-on workshop, young creatives will learn the basic principles of printmaking as they design, carve, and print their unique ideas. Students will have the chance to make classic prints, greeting cards, and even design their own custom shirts! Due to use of carving tools ages 10+ (8+ if parent assists). Artists get to keep their block to continue printing at home.
Weekly Saturday Graffiti Handstyles with ASEC (All Ages)
ASEC will be teaching some of the styles graffiti artists need to learn. From graffiti tagging styles, learning how to develop your own letter styles, and the importance of finding inspiration from artists, but not copying them.
Digital DJing 101 with
DJ DALE
This class is an introduction to the fundamental skills of digital DJing. In our fully-equipped, relaxed and inspiring environment, we guide you through 60 minutes of fun-filled exercises designed to maximize hands-on time navigating a controller-based, digital DJ setup.
Art Workshop for
Children with Disabilities
During this hour long workshop kids will engage in the creative process to explore different materials.
Tie dying paper designs while exploring the sensory system. The activity would also provide the opportunity to share the interaction, build social experiences and communication with the person accompanying them.
We are open and encourage an aid / parent / family member to tag along for extra support.
Mural Basics Workshop (All Ages)
Get ready to unleash your inner artist! Join us for a thrilling 2-hour workshop where you'll dive into the world of mural painting. Grab your brushes and get set to craft your very own masterpiece on a massive 9ftx12ft canvas. Your creation will take center stage in our studio for a whole month! So, think big, dream bold, and come prepared to let your creativity run wild. Get ready to make a splash, get messy, and paint your heart out!
Second Chance Printing
Drop into the studio on the scheduled Saturday and bring your used garments and bring them back to life with a new pre-designed LMTE / ART MONSTER silk screen. Donations for the LMTE Community Fund will be accepted for this service. No tickets are necessary for this event.
